This sounds odd, but I'm roasting a Canada Goose.

We had stuffed mushrooms and jalapenos for appetizers. Then, we had fried fish, jalapeno hush puppies, french fries, pinto beans, and cole slaw for the main meal. Then, it was some sort of strawberry delight that my wife made, chocolate pie, and cherry cheese cake for desert. It was a Super Bowl / birthday party. I am still full.

Before that, my BIL and I made five sticks of summer sausage. I think that I spent about 4 hours in the kitchen yesterday. \:\)

I did Bang-Bang shrimp and smoked chicken wings. The shrimp turned out really good but isn't as good after sitting on the table for an hour or more.

The smoked chicken wings? Out of this world! Hate to brag on myself, but some of the best I've had.
