Looks great. Could I ask how much you have invested not counting the scope?

Hate to disappoint you guys but I don't have a target for you. I fired 10 shots. 2 sight-ins, 3 unknurled SST, 3 knurled SST, 2 unknurled barnes. All were using 10gr sr4759 and 50gr h4198 and harvester lite blue sabots. The unknurled SST shot the best. WGK shot 3 knurled sst's through it with 7gr sr4759 and 53 gr h4198 that was worse. The gun feels really good shouldered. When I get over this virus and can think more clearly I will resume testing.

Of the 14 total shots thru this gun, all primers came out as easily as they went in. I tried something that, in all of my research, no one else has done. Let's' digress. When Slufoot modded my h&r, he pressed a bushing down inside the primer cavity of the breech plug, to "headspace" the primer against the face of the action when locked up in battery. I had him mod a spare plug at the same time. I installed this plug in the new barrel and a primer in the bolt nose. Then I screwed the barrel on until the primer bottomed out in the breech plug. At that point I backed the barrel off about a C H and tightened the barrel nut.
The key is to not allow the primer to be driven forward upon the firing pin strike nor allow the return pressure spike to begin to push the primer out of the 209 primer case against the bolt face. That is the root cause of 209 primers that are difficult to remove from the bolt nose.

Disclaimer I am no smokeless god. Take this info for what you feel it is worth. I don,'t mind sharing

After changing scope mounts, a short range session this morning showed potential. With some straight charges (pressures under 30KPSI), The groups began to tighten up. Targets are at 120 YDS. Still, no sticking primers.

Nice. Luke should be shipping me my PacNor next week for my 700 ML. Looks like I need to find some RL7 to try.

On target #2 I'm surprised the tan sabot held together. I blew a couple of them with upper 50's charges of H4198 in my H&R.

I have found the loads that shoot good in my H&R don't necessarily shoot good in this gun. The only load difference being a Fed 209A primer where I previously used Winchester. I'll try Winchesters next time out.
This is my first Pac-nor so I don't have anything to compare with. It seems extremely slick inside and loads with about 40lbs of pressure. Knurling makes it tighter but loading pressure doesn't change much. The tan sabot loads tighter with the barnes so I tried it and was surprised.
