This buck disapeared when the rut slowed down. No rubs showing up, scrapes, pics of him etc.. We put our cams out the last day of season and found a very large sign post rub with a scrape that had just been done then a 70" shed nearby it. That gave us hope of a big one still being around. On the way in today we found several rubs and scrapes that weren't there last week. It happened the same way last year.. These deer scrape into late February.

I've been after this one pretty hard since last year. He is either a 9 or a 10.. I need more pics but I think he might have a sticker point.

My brand new Simmons camera already quit working.. It was in a good spot too

Great buck. He's onto that red IR flash, that's for sure.

He's seen it many times before on that same tree. He actually walked towards the camera to check it out. I wish his brother was as dumb when it came to cameras. (The one I call his brother is the deer that dropped the 70" shed.. Their right brow has the same curve.. Not that it means anythig though.. just kinda cool) We got one white flash pic of him last year and he avoided walking close to cams since. I lucked up and the buck from this thread triggered the camera while he was standing in the background.. Staring at the canera from a good piece away. It's weird how some deer are so shy compared to others

Awesome deer! Just to clarify, you also found a shed with 70" of antler? That deer would be near 160" live!

I didn't find it but I was walking with my buddy who did.

It measures 59.5" based on this picture I can assure you the G3 was enough to break 70".. Even with the tip of it not being in the picture. I wish I knew what the other side looked like lol.. We have a matched set from two or more years ago (much smaller.. Only 137")
