I don't think he will ever part with it, but he has two metal detectors and wants me to go dig with him soon, so maybe the three of us could meet up and hunt for stuff? And possibly you could take a look at the Cumberland point... It's up to him, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind showing it.

My buddy found his on accident too, while fishing on a gravel bar. All the gravel was coated in mud dust from recent high water and he thought the point was just another willow leaf at first.
