Excaliber Vixen II is 150lbs and has killed up to and including moose. Would'nt go any lower.

There is a minimum poundage for crossbows. Not sure what it is exactly but 100 seems light to me.

Mike there should be IMO. To many deer wounded with light equipment. I know the DNR sets the regs, but there should be a minimum.

More than poundage makes a difference in crossbows the telson 130lb shoots 385fps 132 lbs ke The vixon from excaliber 285 fps 150lbs limbs with close to same arrow weight so poundage is not the thing to be regulated but the ke of a set arrow weight at a set distance but thats just me but i do believe their should be a set number
