Our plots didn't do very well but,some plants came up and I don't know what they are.I wish I had taken pics but I didn't.They are growing in clumps of 6 or 8 long skinny stems about 2 feet tall.They almost look like the weeds that grow around a pond.Anyone know what they might be?The area was nothing but sandy soil when we started so,something green is better than nothing I guess.

BSK,We planted a sample kit from the whitetail institute with 7 different seeds,soybeans,sunflowers,and clover.The sample kit was planted in a section by itself.The plants that I am talking about are all over the entire food plot.I want to say they sort of look like the weeds in a swampy area.Some have what looks like grain on top of them.

that would be sorghum. It has a huge seedhead on top,. in which deer will eat. You must have planted powerplant from whitetail institute.
