I still have mine and with HV magblends and 7s I have very good results with a SumToy 650 and a hevi shot 656. You will find they usually like chokes in the 650-660 range with most shells

Remington 870 super magnum with thumbhole stock. I absolutely love the gun. I like shooting the 3.5s out of it too.

If you want an absolute turkey thumper that is a joy to carry around all day get an 870 20 gauge - put a SpecOps stock on it, either put a short barrel on it or buy the compact version to begin with, put either an Indian Creek or a TruGlo Gobble Stopper Xtreme choke tube on it, and top it off with a Burris Fastfire III. Grab some Hevishot #6 or #7 3" loads and you're set. This setup will shoot "almost" as good as my 870 super magnum shooting Hevishot mag blends at 40 yards.
I second the Remington 870 20 gauge with the Special Ops Adjustable Stock but I'd recommend a set of Williams Fire Sights, a Truglo SSX Strut Stopper Xtreme choke tube and Federal Heavyweight #7's. This is a deadly combo to 40 yards and beyond and a dream to carry in the turkey woods.
