That Rah-Rah stuff won't work in the NFL. They leave that to the pretty girls.

Wouldn't mind them interviewing Jay Gruden but after today I'm not sure.

He had to go. Now if we can get rid of cj and locker, it would free up some dollars to go after some decent offensive guys

Then they went and offered Munchak an extension if he fired who they told him to. He refused and was then fired.

That meeting with Tommy Smith wasn't to fire him. It was to offer him an extension. Munchak just wouldn't agree to the terms.

Everything I read said that's the reason munch wouldn't agree to there terms ..cause they didn't offer him a extension but he would have to fire everybody but greg williams.. it would be very hard for munch to fine anybody on a 1 yr deal...lame duck season..if they would have gave him a extension then he could have replaced coaches

My guess is that the owners pretty well new that Munchak wasn't going to fire 2-3 of his very best friends. This was done to cut down on their pr issues for firing a 30+ year employee of the organization.

Saw today where Munchak interviewed for the Penn State job. If they want to revert to a mediocre at best team - go ahead and hire him.
