Putting my boy on a DC-bound flight tomorrow morning to go get his Mitsubishi back from its Fairfax prison!

Ended up buying the ECU off of eBay and shipping it to the mechanic. It was installed and, at least according to the mech, seems to be working fine. We were VERY fortunate to get a buddy pass from a pilot at church, so the ride up there should be totally free. I desperately hope the car is really fixed. Be a cold weekend to be stuck on a Virginia highway.

Will post updates of his progress.

Patriotism is not short, frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.

Hope and pray its fixed and he makes it back. As redblood said you owe that pilot a mighty fine meal.

Fairfax is where I was born. It gets cold there for sure. Hope he makes it home safe.
