I always tell people with cameras, a lot of times your best pictures aren't just of a big ole buck! This is one of those times.

I don't know if you read a posting I made a couple of weeks back about a 125" buck I let walk under my stand. After he passed me I was videoing him on my phone camera and grunted at him to see his reaction. I did this 3 times and all 3 times he stopped at point blank range to look back. Each time he stopped (waking through a thicket of grass and briars full of finch type birds) the birds would land on his antlers.

This past saturday I observed some unusual bird behavior. A small bird (I am not a bird watcher) was flitting around and then after resting on a branch for a few seconds he jumped up and grabbed a leaf with his beak and then just hung there for about ten seconds, motionless. When he let go he flew off south like he was late for dinner. Never seen anything like that. He had some yellow on him and he was small.
