So y'all are saying the pros had golf carts and everyone else walked up and down hills?

That's unfair IMO, especially considering how the heart rate affects pin float and holding steady. Must be nice to keep the heart a smooth 80 bpm during a shoot instead of having pulse spikes due to going up an down hills.

No the pros got to drive back to there range , while we had to walk to ours . They drove their vehicles through our range while we were in the middle of our round . The road through our range was so dry , they kicked up ALOT of dust and made it hard to even see the targets for a minute on one side of the range .

And the ranges at the ASA shoots are set up to where you don't have to do much walking once you are at your range . The next target is directly beside you most of the time , except when you go from one side to the other . So most of the time heart rates don't come into play unless your nervous .

But actually walking to get to your range is usually an excursion of its own .

I would recommend the Ft. Benning shoot or Illinois .

No golf carts...they drove their regular vehicles right down through the middle of the other ranges; shooters and spectators. Here is a pic showing how crowded it was on the power line that day.

I haven't been to Benning, but the Illinois shoot is awesome—during and after the shoot.....casino anyone? \:\)
Plus, the Illinois shoot is closer to us here in Nashville. If you go, I highly recommend going up Friday and doing the team shoot.
