This is the first picture I have ever got of a piebald. I actually passed it yesterday evening hoping it would make it another year. I think it is a doe but I am not 100% sure.

by the looks of that pic, I'm gonna say button buck. is absolutely beautiful!! I killed one about 8 years ago similar to that one. I also been seeing one the last couple weeks on the way home from work that is about 95% white and at least 4 years old

It was one of the best hunts I have ever had and I never fired a shot. I had a 2.5 old buck run in chasing this deers mother. Then this deer and another fawn came in behind the other two. A few minutes later I heard the piebald blowing and I didn't know why. I then saw a bobcat walking across the field right toward me. One of the deer actually ran towards the cat and was blowing at it like it was trying to chase it off. The bobcat ended up walking within 10 yards of me and my buddy(who doesn't hunt. He just wanted to see what it was all about.) I told him, that is why I do it! It has been a frustrating season up to that point. A lot of time in the tree, a lot of deer passed, and no bucks on the ground but that reaffirmed why I do it!
