Saw an article on the Times Online, a UK paper, discussing a material named AeroGel that is supposed to be a highly efficient insulator. That article can be found here.
I did a search on the internet and found there are a few sites that offer AeroGel insoles, and a number of boots have been introduced this year containing AeroGel as an insulator. The insoles I found run $12, which I feel is very reasonable. What few revies I've found have been positive.
My question is this: does anyone here have any experience with AeroGel insoles or boots, and if so, can you provide some insight?

I haven't heard of it either, But $12 does sound pretty reasonable for warm feet =)

It's solidified gas...It's a solid. Almost like styrofoam in texture.

I use the artic shield booties. They keep my feet from getting cold.
