ill pass ill keep my nap killzones. I bet they wont be able to keep them on the shelve. you'll see more and more hunting show shooting that junk this year. rage is about like Matthews they market very well.
Because they preform really well. 90% of the haters have never tried them. they just don't like them for whatever reason. And the myth that they aren't durable, well thats about like peyton not being able to play in cold weather. Ive killed 3 deer with one this year.
No myth, my friend. I was never able to reuse a single Rage broadhead during 4 seasons of use. The blades were always bent beyond repair and, due to the low quality steel, the edges themselves to do re sharpen very well at all.
No doubt Rage's are popular, but I think you are severely
underestimating the amount of hunters who have tested and used Rage's and moved on to other designs. I think that Rage's marketing heavily capitalized on a new generation of TV influenced hunters. The product hit the market at the right time and they dumped a lot of money into marketing with, what was at the time, a unheard of price for massed produced (non boutique) broadheads. No doubt their consumer acquisition far out paced the consumer atrophy, but don't assume that a large % of Rage "haters" haven't thoroughly experimented the product, because I know a number of people who have. I, for example, probably killed 10 deer using Rage products. I would venture to say that is more deer than the average
Rage enthusiasts has killed using the same product and, as a result, my conclusions are drawn from empiricism not marketing.
