I had two mature does in my clover plot this morning when I was leaving to go to work.

My Durana plots look incredible. All the rain this summer made for some of the best clover plots I have ever had. The deer must like the way they look too, because they are wearing em out!

I have a mixture of several clovers. The deer are hitting it hard and its holding up well.

Mine aren't real big and they are absolutely clipped to the ground. Browse lines on honeysuckle and briars are very visible. All deer I am seeing now are in grown up fields and edges.

Probably not. Although its 70 degrees right now, we will have days/weeks of freezing temps before winter is over. Any young sprouts stand the chance of being damaged by any remaining freeze.

Crimson plots have been seeing hard use all fall, even though we had a pretty good acorn crop. Crimson handles the cold fairly well, but it is only an annual (although an excellent reseeder).
