And to see if you are really good, I saw the deer that made this. Take a guess at sexual proclivity. You have a 50% chance of bneing right.

Might be a tad either way.

Hard to score guess a rack that isn't attached to the deer's head... Especially when pushed into the camera.

I couldn't tell you what a deer scores just looking at it. I'll guess 180ish.

As for the second picture it is not showing up.

Makes no difference if the rack is attached to anything and pushed or just laying on a table. The key is, just look at the antlers, nothing else. That is the way you field judge one, too.

If you start comparing to body size, you will get badly fooled with some of those Canadian deer.

That's def not a mature buck track. Its a young deer too cause it has a sharp hoof print. Could maybe tell you more if i could see the size and knew the area.

Don't let that sharp point fool you. It does many. Swamp deer or deer in soft ground areas may have sharp points their entire lives.

The same is true of the teeth. Deer who live in areas of sandy soil will show teeth that appear several years older than they are.

The track is from about a 3.5 buck with an eight point rack that might score 120. This is from Tara Plantation in MS.

Sexual proclivity refers to sexual habits. If you are asking what sex it is I'd go with a doe. The rack is probably in the 174" range.

No, sexual proclivity. No, not a doe.
