prob can find some if i search but to lazy today. Not really a single pin topic but those that actually use the HHA sites which one do you have and what pros and cons do you like or not like about it. I may actually try one out when it warms up, love the idea but not sure if there are thing with those sites that are a pain or an issue.

was looking at the XL5519 and DS5019 but open to others. I have an Axcel Armourtech now that I actually really like but may try something else is all.

They are very good sights. I'm switching to HHA XL5519 next hunting season—my 3D single-pin shooting has finally affected my multi fixed-pin hunting.

Let me know, as I know you will \:\) , and we'll get all the specs and I'll run a tape for ya.

I hunted all year with the single pin , and can say I never had any issues with adjusting it on the fly . I left it at 25 . I did adjust it out to 35 when I killed a doe at 37 and I had no problems . I like it alot so far .... But take it for what it's worth , I'm also the dummy that hunts with a hinge release ;\)

I've had a couple of the HHA sight models that were the DS-5510. If you get an HHA sight be SURE to get the one with the rheostat feature!!! Trust me on this, and spend the extra coin to buy the sight with the rheostat feature. I would get the .010 pin with the rheostat feature, because in bright light the pin looks huge and can cover a lot of your target! The HHA sights are are great products backed by a company with great customer service!

As good as the HHA sights are I like the Spot Hogg, Hogg Father better! It is a tournament grade sight that can withstand the rigors of hunting!

To the OP

HHA makes a great single pin but check out the Black Gold Ascent as a possible alternative. The Ascent has more base and scope options than the HHA. It's truly a customizable sight through Black Gold.

I've owned 4 different HHA single pin adjustable sights over the past 10 years. The HHA ol5500 is my favorite, rock solid and dependable! I can't say enough great things about HHA and their customer service!

I've had the OL-5019 and the OL-5519 and didn't have any complaints about them. Last year I bought the DS-5519 and it is really sweet. The smoothness of the dial is great. If you're perfect with the yardage tape and you miss, it's not the bows fault. I shot a doe opening day at 68 yards. I misjudged about 2 yards but she didn't take a step. I couldn't have done it though had I not had the 4x lens on it. They come in 2x, 4x, and 6x.

You don't need the tapes....just take some measurements and shoot it through a chronograph at a couple of set yardages and you can print a custom accurate tape off that will go out to almost 200yds. Do you know anyone that could, or would, help you with that? \:\)

What measurements do you take and distancts do you shoot to a tape?

REN knows I'm playing with him—I have a software program that calculates everything and will print out custom tapes. You need arrow info (type and brand, spine, length, vanes, total weight, tip weight, etc...) and you need bow info (name, draw weight and length, peep to pin and peep to arrow measurement, arrow speeds at the bow and at 30 yards and a few other measurements.

hahah I was already planning on that Andy, just didn't know if you had a printer to print labels or other sticky type paper.

either way when i get all of the stuff in i was coming over to get it set up....as of now i ordered the bow and site, now just waiting on a deal for a Ripcord Code red or HDX and a new Stabilizer.

either way i should have it all in by new years so get your stuff ready lol. I have to change the mods out because the bow i bought is set at 27 and i ordered some 29.5 mods.
