Here is a simple recipe.

Deer Meat Fresh or thawed - most any cut will do
Vegetables carrots, Potatoes, Onions, Celery
Flour
Salt, Pepper, herbs or whatever Seasonings you like
Oil or some type of fat
water
Beef Stock or Venison Stock
water

STEP 1

Get all your stuff together

Season meat with salt and pepper and coat with seasoned flour.

Heat oil in a big pot and add floured meat

Cook until meat has browned on all sides

Add veg, and cover with water and/or stock
I added some thyme and basil but you can add what you like.

bring to boil and reduce heat. cook for an hour or so.

as it cooks, it will reduce down and thicken quite a bit.

its ready to eat after an hour or so.
