I planted VHN wheat and BFO in my plants this year. Thinking ahead for next year, I wonder if any of it will come back??

Unlikely. If you were to lightly run a disk over it once it's gone to seed some will no doubt germinate with a little moisture but those are cool season crops. They won't make much of anything and will burn up during the warm months.
