I put this together today I had intended on making wooden legs for it. I was making the top on the saw horses and I thought Dang! this saw horse is light portable and stable so I screwed the top down to saw horse, made a new lid, put henges ,made a little drawer for targets, stapler and other shooting stuff.
not much to look at but hey it works!!! and it seems stable.
heres a few pics.

nice job. When I'm shooting on a rest, I like to lean forward to rest by body on the table. JMO

You got the rest backwards. The trigger guard is supposed to rest on that little knob for elevation.

I know its backwards but I like it better that way, I'm sorta a backwards sorta guy
Actually with that mz it will not fit all the way down in the vise good, the other way so that is why I shoot with it turned around.

I picked up an old ironing board at a garage sale last fall, the pad was all torn up, so the lady was selling it for a couple bucks. I brought it home, stripped the cover off, glued a rubber mat to the top and whaaalaaa!!! Portable shooting bench.

It is light weight, folds up easily and has the width and stability for steady shooting.

Just an idea I thought I'd share.
