This West Tennessean is considering driving east for the bear hunt in November. I would prefer the South Cherokee WMA because it is closer, but where would I have a better chance of connecting? I am not going to hunt with dogs. Any advice would be helpfull.

444marlin and I have been hunting south Cherokee this week during the muzzleloader hunt, between us we've seen 7 bears no hogs or deer and 8 turkeys,

I'm highly interested in doing the same thing starting next year during archery bear season.

WMAn and I will be out there looking for a bear on the weekend of the 11-23 during the closed dog season.
