These radishes have exceeded our expectations in our poor east TN soils! The deer are eating the forage and the radish is helping to build organic matter and penetrate compacted soil (plus provide a late-season food source full of carbs). Overall, very happy with the production.

They work very well for me as well, Im in not so great soil as well. My deer prefer them over any turnips Ive planted.

Many KY farmers started planting them as a cover crop 2 years ago

Many farmers are planting them around here as well. It's a cover crop and they grow them to bust through the hardpan.

I tasted the bulbs on mine and they were spicy. Havent tried them since the last couple freezes though. They are good pickled on a Banh Mi.

We tried them in a salad and on the skillet. Spicy, but good!
