I cant shoot in this mirage, whirlpool over here,,if I see somrthing too shoot at I will but targets and testing is of no use to me now as I dont trust the results with the target jumping around.

I just got through, and brothers, it was hot, hot, hot.
The mirage was terrible even at 100 yds.
Light breeze cleared things up now and then.
Loads that were ok a couple weeks ago showing pressure. I shot both target rifles and things went quite well with them, the new Berger 108`s are some bad boys. The 7/338 did great fireforming some brass.
I am shooting 154 Hornadys fireforming and they are running 3438 and not any pressure. I sighted the scope to them, adjusted the dials, and may just use those for the goats.
My 140 Accubond load is toasty already, and I would not dare shoot them right now.
I may back them down a couple grains and see how they shoot.

My rifle likes them, it would be so easy to just go with them. Never kilt a goat with a Hornady bullet. May just have to change that........
