Got a chance to get the new gun out today. Started off with some barnes 195's knurled and just wasn't able to find a load that would group well. Here is my first 5 shots. The first 2 were high then adjusted scope down. All shooting was 100 yds
58gns n120
195 barnes knurled
light blue sabot
fed 209a

So after shooting the barnes 12 times I thought let's change it up a little. So I switched to sst's. Here is a 5 shot group.
This will be my hunting load.
60gns N120
200gn SST's unknurled
light blue sabot
fed 209a

Im sure y'all are thinking why isn't he posting FPS....Well it just so happens I shot my chrono on shot #3 today as I was switching between my 3 sml's trying to make sure I was good for next weekend.......
I am very excited to do some experimenting with loads for the rem/mac especially sabotless but when you get a gun a week before the season ya just have to find a deer killer.....

Why are you knurling bullets with sabots? Ive only heard of knurling when shooting sabotless.

I get much better groups and many less flyers knurling the Barnes 195 and 200 shockwave before putting them in Harvester light blues.

Im going to try thr sst's out of my pacnor. The bsrnes give me half inch groups that you can cover all holes with a quarter and put a hurting on deer. But the
sst's loaded alot tighter than the barnes, which makes me think they will shoot better than the barnes.

Whatever works.....I guess I just got lucky, all 3 of mine shoot anything I put down the barrel right out of the package....I refuse to do all that knurling and sizing and other crap, too much work and too many extra variables to figure out for my taste. I've got to "keep it simple stupid" for me.

I don't size for saboted, just sabotless.

I can knurl 50 bullets in about 20 minutes, so it's really not inconvienent.

I was blowing sabots above 60 degrees even waiting, knurling has cured that for me. Tightened the Barnes up as well.

Magnetospeed.

Pricey, but it would be mighty hard to shoot one.
