for those with a bad back (like me) who hate bending over to filet fish try this. I bought an ironing board at Habitat for Humanity for 5 dollars I screwed a 4 ft piece of 2 x 12 on top Now the fish are chest high. Easy to store should work on doves ducks etc also

That's a good idea. On my work benches and filet table I measured from my belly button to the floor and that's my working height. I've found that at that height it doesn't hurt my back at all. However, it's just a tad low for all the bar stools that I've found to set on but, I usually don't have enough fish that my legs get that tired from standing. LOL!!!

Did you buy the matching iron that goes with it? You could cook your fillets at the same time and put a little lemon juice in the handle of the iron and give them a little squirt when finished.

Seems ideal for the little woman to clean your fish for you now that you have it at ironing height.

I just use my tailgate. Folds up or down nice and easy, rinse off with a hose...done.
