I look up and took a few steps back.. must have been 30 or 40 slipping through the gable vent. Looked around, they are everywhere-probably a couple hundred total.

Guess I am gonna have to get all gussied up and see what in my attic is taking place. Maybe I'll have the Twins do it when thye get home from school, they are young and tough.

The warm snap is bringing them back out. We're covered up with them at work. They're still "groggy", and don't seem to be interested in stinging at all….but it's still unnerving to see them spilling out of all the crevasses.

Gonna get my camera and see what I can do to document this for posterity....Six of them in this picture Zoom in if you can.

Wait till night time when they are all settled down on the nest. Climb a ladder and spray the heck out of them

Man I hate wasps so I'd call an exterminator and get the camera ready! Wife might not appreciate you using her offspring to entertain the guys on TNdeer but she should have no attachment to the exterminator!

Seems like everything was out buzzing around yesterday it was hot and the ft moving in. They oughta to be settled down and very lethargic after the storm moves thru.3 to 5 inches of rain in some places. I would prepare for battle. A couple of cans of wasp spray. Tools to take the down spout loose,1 of your hunting masks.Heavy clothing and boots, pants tucked in. Get your down spout down they very likely have in it.

Good luck figuring out exactly where they've got a home base. Our office farmhouse swarms every year about this time. They love that heat up there.

I'm seeing the same exact thing here at my house! Everybody else has those ladybug looking things...we got the wasps. We have the solid red ones and the red/yellow striped ones. They are everywhere! They are getting in my house via a vent above my stove. I killed about 9 of them the other night in the house...and totally forgot about them after I slept that night. When I woke up I stumbled through the house and went to put a shirt on from the clean clothes laundry basket...and got lit up by one of the little devils that was hidden in the clothes. Throughout the day I would hear them buzzing and go look in the kitchen, and sure nuff...there more of them would be. I killed probably 12 yesterday...and came home this morning to find more crawling around the kitchen. They aren't good at flying for some reason...they can only fly for a little ways and then land.

SAME issue at my place the last few days.

Wait until it cools off in a few days, send the twins up with their turkey huntin masks on (good coveralls might help too \:\) )
and let em spray everything they see

Had the same issue here at my house ....... can dive you nuts when the temps jump up for a few day. Decided to spend a few hours yesterday in one of my stands. Flipped the seat down and "HELLO".
