I was fortunate to stumble onto this awesome piece a few weeks ago at a friends farm along the Cumberland river. It shoes awesome craftsmanship and is made of Dover chert, its busted up and broke in half but finding tools like this made from being chipped out then polished is something that ive never done and consider it rare.
This heavily ground piece of Dover came from the same field....13 years ago and I thought they might have matched up but no luck!
