Luke at Arrowhead says around 675-700 on his web site, but that does not include the stock if you plan on replacing factory one. This price would be if you do all the work yourself.

The price of doing the conversion is well worth it!

Can I order all the parts to just bolt up or will I have to have a gunsmith install parts such as the barrel? Also will the breach plug be interchangeable to smokeless? Is there anywhere that I can read up and learn more about head remington 700 builds?

The barrel swap on a Remington can be a real pain. Personally I would let someone do it. Luke will do it for you and it will come back ready to kill deer. There have been a lot of Remington conversions done over on Dougs. Here is the link to ask/answer all of your questions.

Like TAR said you can send it to Luke and he will take care of you. I have one I'm going to attempt to build myself soon as I can get a barrel for it. Luke told me you just need to thread barrel on until it bottoms out,you do not have to headspace like normal cartridge rifle.

Getting the old barrel off can be a real PIA! Not always but some are extremely stubborn!

What is the real advantage in a smokeless? I have a Remington 700 ml as setting in the safe and has been since these new muzzle loaders have hit the market with speed breaches. Give me some info

That pretty much sums it up for me as well... Once you go smokeless you never go back! \:\)
