If any of you guys run across any of these, please gimme a holler.

140 grain 6.5 MM

I was brain dead working on cleaning my outside AC condensing unit and I got back 2 minutes late to an E-bay auction, I`m very depressed.

Box of 80 went for $12.50. My 6.5/284 Lt gun loves them. These are the old style A Max. Thanks.

Tim, what is the difference in these versus what they are producing now?

The old ones have a larger tip.

I called Hornady and was told the tip was giving them trouble, and to fix that, the shape had to be changed so what ended up a whole new style of bullet.

The old ones are longer than the new ones considerably. I feel an advantage on the BC numbers.

I know I length checked my whole box of 100 of the old ones and you would not believe how well they measured. All were within .0005"

If they have a different part number when they changed the design, you might could call Wideners up here in Johnson City and check with them. I know they are showing they have 119 boxes in stock on their website that weight and caliber........they may have some old stock still.

Is there a difference in the boxes or the product number so I'll know them if I see them? I'll be happy to look for them but am not sure if I'll recognize them if I find them.

Yes, the new boxes are red all over. The old ones have metal corner brackets also. 6.5 and 140`s will get it done!!

Don`t know, but Lonnie Humel from Hornady asked me my lot #, it took him a few minutes and came back and said they were from 1996.
