Anyone had deer come through during or after a bunch of turkeys fly up to roost? Dang birds are making a lot of noise. Very good deer sign in here, just wondering if deer generally avoid the noisy birds at this time in the evening, or if it doesn't make a difference.

I've had deer roam under roosting turkeys before sundown. They didn't seem too concerned.

I would say as long as the deer doesn't know the turkeys were spooked it would be fine. had a big 8 come out last year right after I busted a whole flock into the trees walking in, he didn't seem to care

Well no deer showed up. When I climbed down at dark, deer started blowing at me from up on the ridge.

On public land i have deer avoid roosted turkeys as they were moving around in the trees, but after they flew down, the deer came in.

I HATE turkeys during deer season..but love em in the spring! They will drive a man crazy, especially when its this many.. They gobble year round too, no matter how cold it is.
