AR i would look at a 6.8 SPC should be good on deer and out right deadly on varmints.

Big write up last month in Outdoor Life about the rising popularity of the so called "black guns". Looks like AR's will be the gun of choice for some.

I have some 70gr Barnes TSX's loaded for doe season. It want take the place of my 300wsm, but it will be an option for surgical shots on does and varmints.
