I will be in Murfreesboro for a long weekend. Wanted to slip away and fish the Stones River. Anything biting?

It's been really slow in Mboro. I've caught 2 bass and one cat, total, in about 2-3 weeks, and each of them was via trolling. You may have different luck, though.

Probably not going to mess with it then. Thanks though

Cooler water has turned the fish off in most all of the small rivers and creeks. If you are in the deep water of the stones you may do good, but the bass and such have turned off by now. They are there and catchable, but very slow.

Finally got one last night on a Yo-Zuri Rattl'n Vibe. One. I was at the dam off 99 and it was about 9:00 p.m. That's about 2 weeks worth of trying to figure out what would get the ones I know have to be there. It was about 3 lb. (nothing to brag about).

I've gone out to the Fall Creek area on Percy, too, and not had any luck there, either.

Just not sure what I'm doing wrong for these sites. I may try a little more out at Percy. I'm seeing some good pictures from guides and such who post their trips from there.
