I need advice on cam placement.
In the three years I've been putting my cam out only one buck pic. I just can't seem to find the areas were the bucks hang out.
I know their there I always have huge rubs everywhere.
I have three cams now so I'm going to spread them around the farm next week and see what happens.

Right now I have two cams set up at 30-06 mineral licks and their pounding them.. doe's that is.
I wonder if I should set a cam in an area that has a lot of old buck sign.

Mostly all summer and into fall. Then I take them out and put them out again in the early spring right around fawning time.
I have got literally 1000's of doe pics.
The one buck pic I got was a spike during rifle season.
I find leg sized rubs and big scrapes all the time and killed an 8 and a 7 last year.
I will have to admit I have never set the cams up in areas with rubs and scrapes.
I just wonder where the bachelor groups hang out. I would love to get multiple buck pics like others get. Maybe they just don't hang out on my property during the summer.
There is a lot agriculture around me.[corn, soybeans]
If I can't get their pics I guess I'll just have to settle for killing them during season..

During the season, your cameras should be placed over scrapes to get older buck pictures.
