Back in the day if you had some of these broadheads with the "bleeder" insert.. you were the man... I remember sitting in the stand and staring at the broadhead thinking how much damage it would do to a deer... when I started bowhunting if you killed at deer with a bow you got your picture in the paper! LOL... wonder if they would kill a deer today??

Do you know Jesus as your Savior?don't wait until its too late. You are only one heartbeat away from eternity. You never know when it will be your last. Repent and trust the Lord today as your Savior!

I killed my first couple of deer with those very broadheads many years ago. I used a Bear Kodiak Magnum recurve because compounds weren't even around then. Seems they were never very sharp out of the box and I would spend hours sharpening then till they were shaving sharp.
I also remember when they came out with the stainless steel versions and they were a pain to get sharp.
No doubt in my mind they would still kill a deer.

I killed my first 2-3 deer with that broadhead. I'd still rather have it than some of the mechanicals I see on the market.

Actually, bow kill #2 was with a Bear Kodiak Magnum with Bear broadheads.

#1 was with a "Sears" brand recurve (yes, they had bows, even "Ted Williams" guns back then) and a custom head given to me by a friend.

I'd rather have it than MOST of the mechanicals I see on the market. I think I went from the old Bear Razorheads to a Zwickey Black Diamond Delta (or something like that).
