Catman - congrats.

Man those Youtube comments are disturbing. It's really sad that there are folks out there that actually think thoughts like that and then publish them.

I don't mind that you killed a fawn, I probably wouldn't do it unless I was really hungry though. It doesn't bother me that you did.

What does bother me though is that you really weren't sure of the shot and that you tracked it immediately. If you're unsure of the shot, give it a little more time next time. An extra 30 minutes of enjoying the woods and the moment wouldn't hurt.

I felt pretty good of the shot but was unsure cause I could not see where it hit. I said in the video I was just going to look for the arrow and if I didn't find good blood I'd wait. But the blood was heavy from the start and kept on going, which to me means it is a dead deer, so why wait. It bled out very fast and was completely dead when I found it a few minutes later.

you laughed at me when I told you to wait last year on your first bow kill. There was heavy blood there. Two hours later, I walked up on your still alive(barely) deer that had been hit in the heart a little. I don't go after them any sooner than 30-45 min unless I watch them fall. But it worked out good for you so no harm no foul.

that doe was tough and the blood started out scarce and got worse before it got better. But then I did not wait near long enough on the one horn buck.
