Crossbow shoots 345 fps should I use mechanical of fixed heads. 100 grain or 125 grain?

I like fixed blade with an xbow but im considering going with the rage because of the practice head. i wouldnt go over 100 gr.

I prefer 125 grain Montec G5. All one piece, no moving parts, no rubber bands, no removable blades. What goes in is what comes out, and they are very sturdy.

I use them with the Full Metal Jacket bolts.

out of a cross bow I would shoot a fix blades. and 100 gr is what id shoot to.

Barnett recommended a mechanical Broadhead of at least 125 grains in the owners manual.

Thunderhead 100 grain. if the manual recommended 125 then they make 125 gr Thunderheads too.

depends on what mechanical BH you use

have u really chronoed the bow

the numbers manufactures give are dependent on weight of bolt and bh

but if it is really that speed you cant shoot mechanicals with rubber bands they will break


mine shoots 376 fps i love and will use no other bh than
excal x-act BH

i have killed several including my 180 inch buck that dressed 179 lbs

kills quick flies the same as field point
