I used the rain to take a long way to my stand this afternoon. Hoping it made everything quieter and with less scent. Anyways I walked down a very old logging road. Came across 3 scrapes. They were 30-50 yards a part following the road. I read that 80% of scrapes are worked at night so thy aren't a guarantee, but wouldn't it make sense that this old logging road and scrape line are a highly used trail? Would hunting it now hurt, or should I leave until closer to the rut? Is it not a little early too? These were fresh and cleaned out recently.

As long as you don't assume those scrapes are being made/worked by "good" bucks. I've switched a few cameras to mock scrapes and the only bucks interested so far are spike yearlings!
