the bullseye on the 5 meter target is .750,,I like the American for a scoped rifle but the heavier Trainer is easier for me to shoot without a rest and the longer barrel balances better to me,

Is your 452 noticeably quieter than your American?

Looks like there "should" be a way of mounting the scope closer to the bore on these squirrel guns.

the 452 Trainer has Burris Signature Zee medium rings mounted on JNP 11mm to picitiny adapters,,the Brno Model 2 has Burris rimfire./airgun rings that are so low the bolt handle just almost hits the scope loading and unloading the rifle,

My little Brno trainer had grooves in the top of the receiver.

I like the Burris rings with the inserts,,the CZ has 11mm grooves ,the JNP adapters allow the use of the Burris rings and you cant mount any lower as the bolt handle will not clear the scope any lower

I agree completely the Burris rings are the way to go. I have started putting them on any new gun I acquire.
