Acorn production is obviously so complicated that just about anything is possible woodsman87.

In my area I give it a 0-1 I've been walking for miles and found about 5 post oaks the squirrels are tearing up. You can just sit and listen and NOTHING is hitting the ground not even hickories!!

red oaks dropping fairly good so far, the white oak in our/neighbors front yard has dropped thousands, and I've seen the deer more than once feeding on them. Found one bur oak with hulls on the ground from squirrels, but not dropping yet. still haven't found a hot tree I can hunt for deer, but so far it seems like a good acorn crop in general around here. Gotta keep looking
