how far do you zero your squirrel rifle??I just checked 4 different rifles all with 2-7 scopes and they will all shoot through the same hole at 34 yards,
I think I am gonna give it a whirl in the AM,,

I sighted mine in at 50 yards but they will all hit a squirrel in the head at 75 with ease.

a 50 yard yero will cost you squirrels. rarely will you have 50 yard shots in an early fall canopy. i have found that 38 yards is ideal

Another thing that will cost you squirrels is using "high" mounts and/or a large objective scope. The closer that scope's center to the bore center the better, to avoid shooting too high or too low when the squirrel is a little closer or a little farther but still under 50 yards.

with my Brno Model 2 and 2-7x28 Leupold Rimfire Special mounted in Burris Air rifle mounts with the 34 yard zero I can hold dead on from 10-50 yards,,inside 10 yards or shooting straight up I have to hold just a little high..

Mr. Big, I'm curious as to why you opted for the Burris air rifle mounts? Did they allow for lower mounting?
