Started a new project today. I picked up a Rhino a few months ago. The motor had been removed and disassembled, I'm not using the word disassembled loosely. There wasn't a bolt left in it, every part was separated. |
Thought about putting it back together but the crankcase is busted, what looks like happened is the lower connecting rod bearing got hot and eventually broke the rod at the crank and sent it through the crankcase along with wrecking a few other things on its way out.
I found a deal on another engine off a totaled 2006 Wolverine 450 with under 600 miles. Looks the same except for the belt and clutch fans. So going to give it a whirl.
