You need the Weston 7 lbs, vertical stuffer. Buy it direct from their website. I did the research and can give you a long list of reasons why this is the best option for your money.

Yep. They had the "realtree" editions on sale with free shipping for awhile, but that sale may be over. The main advantage is that Weston sales replacement parts for every single piece of their consumer models. LEM and Cabelas do not. Anything larger than this model will be difficult to clean in a household sink. It's built like a tank, but you might get some food grade silicon for the threads of the plunger.

Having worked with different brands of stuffers, vacuum sealers and grinders, I find Weston to be of the highest quality and best value of any of the butcher manufacturers. The customer service is top notch , too.

They have the Realtree version with Free shipping for $174. http://www.westonsupply.com/Realtree-Outfitters-Vertical-Sausage-Stuffer-p/73-0701-rt.htm

Its the same stuffer, just comes with a camo cover. In the box, the thing is huge, so free shipping is a plus.

You could drop down to the 5 lbs stuffer, but once you get going, I think you'll be happy with the largest setup you can reasonably sanitize in your kitchen.

You may want to check out Northern Tool's website. search stuffer. They have a 5lb vertical for $99. I've pushed several hundred pounds through ours.

I also have one of these Kichner (sp?) ansd have pushed a lot of meat through it. It deos have plastic gears, so just not cranking down when your empty is key to keeping it from breaking.

Just an FYI..... Northern Tool have their 5lb stuffer in their black Friday sale for $79.99

I asked the same question a few weeks back & for my needs, the Kitchener from NT is definitely the best value for money. I mean, if I were banging out 100+lb a year, I'd maybe rethink a LEM or Weston, but for hobby use the NT is perfect.
