no way with 60 grains, thats just a plinking load.

100-110 grains BH209 will be the key for accuracy with the 300gr PT Gold.

One thing I would do, jb bore paste the bore about 50 to 75 strokes, changing patches every 25 strokes, clean that out, light oil " no bore butter!" swab bore once with a dry patch to mop up excess oil and before shooting it next time out, an alcohol patch to remove oil.

3mm or #32 drill bit to remove carbon from breech plugs flash channel, that really can mess with a guys group when it hasnt been cleaned.

Loose stock bolt possibly.

If it shoots a couple shots decently and then goes all over the place after that, its a bad scope.

I didn't say to hunt with it now did I? That's just my starting load to check accuracy then you can increase powder in 5 grain increments until accuracy suffers. But I have killed several with 60 grains way back in the day.
