I have no favorite brand. My insulated stuff is whitewater. I have a Scentblocker super freak jacket that I like really well. Mucks for boots.

I started thinking about clothing like any other type of gear that I have. It may not give me an edge, but I feel better in the stand. I picked up Core 4 Element off of camofire.com and practically have their whole line at this point. It's great gear. Especially the merino wool.

I have minimal layers and can stay warm in freezing temperatures and stay cool enough in warm temps.

Much of my hunting clothes are just plain BDUs or solid fleece pullovers... which reminds me: my fleece jackets/pullovers are from Old Navy. They used to have good "performance fleece" that they would run on sale for dirt cheap. Their newer stuff is lightweight stuff designed for metrosexuals

If I buy anything, it comes from Walmart. Insulated bibbs and coat will be going on season 12 this year. They are Browning. Insulated undies are the same for the last 10-12 years as well. Haven't sold myself on the UA thermals yet. I have a group of freinds that I duck hunt with that have all tried it and said it's not worth the money.

Mine is all surplus, walmart clearance, even yard sale cloths. The only thing I dropped coin on was about 8 years ago me and my brother got each other some Remington Bibs and Jacket that were water proof in Ultra-Quiet for christmas. I love them, but last year ripped the bibs when I got tangled in a piece of loose barbed wire
