I am wearing Scent Lok this season and here are some observations:

1) It's not any more expensive than some of the other "name brand" clothing...the early season gear is less expensive than the cold weather stuff. I end up wearing early season gear more than cold weather stuff over the entire season due to our mild winters.

2) The Savannah series is very good quality clothing. Even if you don't believe in carbon clothing, the stuff breathes very well and is tough. I wore the base layer and outer wear opening morning and did not over heat. It is built very well and will resist snags and tears from briars.

3) It is carbon clothing. I does help reduce your scent. Although it won't eliminate your scent, any bit helps IMO.

I've had cheap stuff and I've had decent stuff, I purchased some sitka stuff on a whim this year and it's amazing. Best clothing I've ever put on for hunting or any thing else you could imagine.

Under Armour head to toe and cold gear and early season. I'm addicted to the stuff.

For cold weather, there is no man-made fiber that can compare with wool. It's warm, durable and extremely quiet.

In warm weather, any old clothing in neutral colors will suffice. I still have some camo and will wear it until it needs to be replaced but camo is pathetically over rated. The cheesy names of most new hunting products are embarassingly stupid.

have you ever tried the woolrich overalls. I love mine but they can be heavy if they get wet.
