Its great to see all the young hunters pics. I would like to apologize for the confusion of picking numbers.LOL... Didn't put a lot of thought before putting this together. A first name with the pic will be good enough to get everyone put in for the drawing. I looked back through the pics and have enough info to get everyone entered. I will put everyones name in a hat and let someone draw out a name. Sorry will do better in the future.LOL....Thanks...

My son took 3 this year. All while sitting with grandpa. My stepson has yet to close the deal. He typically sits with me. I am beginning to think that I am the problem. My stepson had a nice doe in his sights, last week, slowly squeezed the trigger.... CLICK. He forgot to load his rifle. I had asked him an hour earlier and he told me that he did load it. I should have checked. Like we are supposed to do, we treat ALL guns like they are loaded 100% of the time.

Next day my stepson sat with my dad. He had a Doe at ~150 yards, but was afraid that he would miss, and didn't take the shot. We were leaving that day, and are the only ones on the lease. I took a target and put it nearly where the deer was standing and had him take 3 shots. All 3 shots hit within 5" circle from the shooting house. Maybe that helped his confidence.

QDM for them is still 4 legs & no spots. They are enjoying hunting so things are going great. We don't take more deer than we can eat.
