I've got a friend that's wanting to do some trading. He has a Bear glass powered Alaskan. He's wanting to trade for my daughter's old Browning micro midas 2 compound. I'm just not sure what the bear is worth. Any ideas?

Saw several on eBay for $300 - $350. No bids on them how ever. There was a glass powered Alaskan for around $130. It was right or left handed. What's the Midas valued at?

check for cracks, splinters, etc. look down the limbs and make sure they are not twisted. then string it up and listen for any popping noises.

hard to value a bow some times. what's the poundage rating?

45# will handle anything in TN, as long as you put the arrows where it needs to go.

I have a few of the old bears. As stated above look for stress cracks and I would also stay away from ones that have holes or screws put it them not factory. Value varies greatly with condition and year model.
