I guess it is an xt anyway.
I know it is a switchback and is probably 4 or 5 years old.

What would be a good price to pay for it ?

Assuming it comes with arrow rest, sights and quiver of some kind.

They are going for $300-$500, depending on who has it and if they know what they have. The best bow Mathews has ever produced in my opinion....and I'm not the only one that feels that way either. What are they asking?

Not even sure yet.

I just told a friend that I was thinking by summer maybe I might can pull back a bow again, if I got one that is easier to pull back than my featherlight.

He said by then he will be ready to sell his.

Just trying to figure out a way to use a compound again.

I love my featherlight but it is only set at 66# and it is the hardest bow to pull I have ever seen.

Gonna miss her, but it makes the sting a little less because man is using it now. \:D

with the exception of the drenalin, I liked most every other Mathews better than the switchback xt. wish I had bought the DXT when I shot it.

Had one for around 5 years. Very satisfied with it. As much as $500 according to what accessories come with it.

It depends on if its the XT or regular Switchback. The XT is the one everybody likes...it came out a year or two after the Switchback made its debut/flop. I think the Switchback was the most hated one I've ever owned. I hated it so much I didn't even want to shoot the XT because it still had Switchback in the name. Coincidentally, there are a lot of folks who felt the same way about the two bows...as the XT is still Mathews most popular oldie but goodie and the regular Switchback couldn't be buried fast enough. Very few people liked them but those that did, really liked them.

I had the feather lite too Ruger and the feather max, and the Lx and the Outback, the switchback, and the XT and now the Heli-m. Notice the constant upgrades up until the XT and it wasn't until 6 or 7 years later I upgraded again. There's a reason for that. I have adapted to shooting my Heli-m really well but that switchback XT is the signature bow of Mathews if you ask me. Still to this day regret getting rid of mine. So easy to draw compared to the feather series. I will always remember how the feather lite and max would almost jump out of your hands when you hit that release. Totally opposite with the XT. Im seriously considering finding another one to keep put up. Trouble with that I bet none would be in as good of shape as the one my ignorant butt got rid of. Get it. You will enjoy it.
