Need recommendations for a small plot in river bottom, wet soil that is heavily shaded. Whatcha got tndeer community?

Define heavily shaded. If its that heavy of shade, maybe nothing would be best.

Wheat will grow about anywhere. Rye will also grow in partial shade.

wheat/rye mix. Cheap and easy, and you're not out big $ if soil is too wet. You can try a little red clover too, but wouldn't waste $ on white clover yet
