Sold my excalibur to buy a scorpyd and could not be more happy. If you can handle the price the bow will out perform anything on the market and as quiet as some compounds. Dont get me wrong i liked my excalibur till i shot my scorpyd they dont come close

I love my Excalibur. Most accurate crossbow on the market and the easiest to maintain. Plus they last forever it seems. You can restring an Excalibur in your treestand without jumping down and taking it to a bowshop. Hence, you get more hunt time.

Dont have to take the scorpyd to the shop to restring can do it in the field last year my excalibur blew apart so they all will break also the scorpyd is easier to recock in the tree not near as wide and doesnt sound like a car wreck when you shoot it and at 50 yds its accuracy is beyond anything on the market the only draw back is the price hurts to buy one

It will always be the bow you like the best. It will have nothing to do with brand name or price. Disregard any information from anyone else. You are the one that is going to use the bow. Pick the one you like best and can afford.

I started with a horton summit.. killed a truck load of deer with it.. up graded to a barnett . if someone steals my barnett,.. i'll probably go back to a horton.. nothing wrong with the barnett but for the money the horton does just as good...
